Privacy policy
We collect the least we can get away with, we do not sell it, and everything below is written so that you can check that claim rather than take our word for it.

Who we are
This website is operated by DOLCEMIA CLOTHING LLC, a limited liability company formed in the State of Florida, United States, trading as Dolcemia. Our postal address is 7918 Joshua Tree Ln, Jacksonville, FL 32256, USA. For anything in this policy you can reach us at support@dolcemiaclothing.shop or on +1 614 936 6986, Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:00 Eastern Time.
DOLCEMIA CLOTHING LLC is the business responsible for the personal information described here. In California’s terms we are the business; in other frameworks you may see the word controller.
What we collect and why
When you place an order
Name, email address, telephone number, delivery address and billing address, the contents of your order, and — if you choose to give it — the date of the event you are buying for.
We use these to take payment, ship the parcel, handle a return, and answer you if something goes wrong. The event date is used for one thing only: telling you whether the delivery window reaches your date. It is not used to build a profile of you and it is not used for marketing.
We never see your full card number. Card details are entered on an encrypted payment page and are handled by our payment provider under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. What reaches us is a confirmation, the last four digits and the card brand, so we can match a refund to a payment.
When you contact us or ask about an occasion
Name, email address, an optional telephone number, and whatever you write in the message. Used to answer you, and kept so that a follow-up email makes sense to whoever picks it up.
When you subscribe to emails
Email address and the fact that you consented. Used to send the emails you asked for. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.
When you browse
Standard server and analytics information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the site you arrived from. Used to keep the site working, to find broken pages, and to understand which parts of the catalogue people actually read.
What we do not collect
- We do not ask for and do not want your date of birth, government identification number, race, religion, health information, precise geolocation, or biometric data.
- We do not collect body measurements. The size tables are measurements of our garments, not of you.
- We do not buy personal information from data brokers.
Where it comes from
Everything above comes from you directly, from your browser when you visit, or from our carrier and payment provider in the course of completing an order you placed. There are no other sources.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who need it to do something for us, and only for that purpose. They are contractually barred from using it for their own ends.
- Payment processing — to take payment and issue refunds. They receive your name, billing address, email and the amount.
- Shipping carriers — to deliver the parcel. They receive your name, delivery address and telephone number.
- Hosting and email delivery — to run this website and send order and reply emails.
- Analytics — aggregate site usage. Configured without advertising features.
- Law enforcement or a regulator — where we are legally required to, and no further than the requirement.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months. If that ever changes, this page will say so before it happens and the mechanism in the section below will be live.
If the business is ever sold or merged, personal information may transfer to the buyer as part of the assets. You would be told before that happened, and this policy would continue to apply to information collected under it.
How long we keep it
- Order records — seven years from the order date. United States tax and accounting rules require us to be able to produce them.
- Contact and occasion enquiries — 24 months from the last message, then deleted.
- Email subscribers — until you unsubscribe, plus 30 days so the removal is recorded.
- Analytics — 14 months, then deleted or aggregated beyond identification.
- Server logs — 90 days.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete what we hold, subject to records we are required to keep;
- stop sending you marketing email, at any time and without a reason.
Email support@dolcemiaclothing.shop with the subject line “Privacy request”. We respond within 45 days and will tell you if we need a further 45, which the law allows and we would rather not use. We do not charge for this and we will not treat you differently for asking.
To confirm it is really you, we will ask you to reply from the email address on the account, and for an order we will ask for the order number. We do not ask for identity documents.
California residents — CCPA and CPRA
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act gives you specific rights. All of them apply here.
Categories collected in the last twelve months
- Identifiers — name, postal address, email address, telephone number, IP address. Collected to fulfil orders and answer enquiries. Disclosed for a business purpose to payment, shipping, hosting and email providers.
- Customer records information (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.80) — name and address in connection with a purchase. Same purpose and same recipients.
- Commercial information — products purchased and considered. Used to fulfil and support orders.
- Internet or network activity — pages viewed, referring site, browser type. Used for site operation and aggregate analytics.
We collect no sensitive personal information as that term is defined by the CPRA, and therefore have no use of it to limit.
Your California rights
- Right to know what we collect, use, disclose and sell.
- Right to delete personal information we hold about you.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — see the section below.
- Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information — we collect none, so there is nothing to limit.
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these. We do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information.
You may use an authorised agent. We will ask for written permission signed by you and will verify with you directly.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
DOLCEMIA CLOTHING LLC does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. There is therefore nothing for an opt-out to switch off, and we are not going to put a button here that does nothing.
If you want that position confirmed in writing for your own records, email support@dolcemiaclothing.shop with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share” and we will send you a written confirmation within 15 business days. If our practice ever changes, an opt-out mechanism will be live on this page before any sale or sharing begins, and we will honour Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser.
Cookies and local storage
We use two kinds of browser storage, and only two:
- Your bag is kept in your browser’s local storage so it survives a refresh. It never leaves your device until you check out. Clearing your browser data empties it.
- Aggregate analytics, configured without advertising features and without cross-site tracking.
There are no advertising cookies, no retargeting pixels and no third-party social trackers on this site.
Security
The whole site is served over HTTPS with HTTP Strict Transport Security. Card details are entered on an encrypted payment page and never reach our servers. Our databases are encrypted at rest, access is limited to the people who need it, and that access is logged.
No system is perfect. If a breach affects your personal information we will tell you and the relevant authorities as required by Florida Statutes §501.171 and any other law that applies to you.
Children
This website sells adult womenswear and is intended for customers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top and, for a material change, tell subscribers by email before it takes effect. The version in force when you placed an order is the one that governs that order. Our terms of service sit alongside this policy.
