Who these terms are with

This website is owned and operated by DOLCEMIA CLOTHING LLC, a Florida limited liability company, trading as Dolcemia, of 7918 Joshua Tree Ln, Jacksonville, FL 32256, USA. “We”, “us” and “our” mean that company. “You” means the person placing an order or using the site.

By placing an order you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy, shipping policy and returns policy, all of which form part of the agreement.

Who may order

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You must provide accurate details and a delivery address you are entitled to receive post at. We may refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably suspect fraud, a payment problem, or an attempt to resell at volume.

What we sell and how it is described

We sell finished women’s apparel and textile accessories for warm-weather occasions: dresses, cover-ups and light layers, plus a small number of accessories. We do not sell bridal gowns, black-tie eveningwear or swimwear.

Every product page states, and every one of these is a measurement rather than an opinion:

• opacity, graded opaque, semi-sheer or sheer on a fixed backlight rig;
• lining state: fully lined, partially lined through the bodice, or unlined;
• where the hem sits once you are seated;
• how the cloth behaves in moving air, graded light, moderate or heavy;
• fabric weight in grams per square metre;
• fibre content, care instructions and country of origin;
• a measured size table in centimetres and inches, with a ±1 cm tolerance.

These descriptions are given honestly and we stand behind them. They are descriptions of cloth and construction, not guarantees about an event. We do not claim that any piece is right for every occasion, that any fabric blocks light completely, or that any hem will stay down in wind. Occasion labels are our suggestion — the host sets the dress code and the invitation is the authority on it.

Colour on a screen is not colour in a room. Our photography page sets out the conditions we shoot in and where a screen will mislead you.

Prices, currency and tax

All prices on this website are in US Dollars (USD), shown as a figure followed by “USD”. We do not display prices in any other currency. If your account is held in another currency, your bank applies its own conversion rate and may add a foreign transaction fee, neither of which we control or receive.

Prices exclude sales tax, which is calculated at checkout on the delivery address, and exclude shipping, which is shown before you pay. International duties and import taxes are not included — see shipping.

We may change prices at any time, but the price you were shown when you placed your order is the price of that order. Where a price is listed in obvious error, we will contact you before charging and you may confirm at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.

Orders and acceptance

Adding a piece to your bag is not an order. Submitting the checkout form and completing payment is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation, not when you pay.

If a piece turns out to be unavailable after you have paid, we cancel that line and refund it in full within three business days. If we cannot ship within 30 days we will contact you with a revised date and the option of a full refund, as set out in the shipping policy.

Promotions, discount codes and set pricing

The conditions of anything we offer are stated wherever it is offered:

• Free standard shipping applies to orders of $150 USD and above, before tax, shipping to a United States address. It does not apply to expedited or international shipping. If a return takes an order below the threshold, the shipping cost is deducted from the refund.
• First-order discount codes are one use per customer, cannot be combined with another code, and do not apply to sets. They expire on the date stated in the email that carried the code.
• Set pricing. Where a set shows a struck-through comparison price, that figure is the exact sum of the current individual prices of the pieces in the set, on the same day. It is not an inflated reference price and it is not a price we invented for the comparison.
• Finder bundles. Adding several pieces from the Occasion Finder adds them at their normal individual prices. Any discount applied is stated on the page at the moment it is applied.

No promotion enrols you in anything recurring. There is no negative-option billing on this site.

Payment security and your card details

The entire website, including every form, is served over HTTPS with a valid TLS certificate and HTTP Strict Transport Security.

Card details are never entered on, transmitted to, or stored on our servers. Payment is taken on an encrypted payment page operated by our payment provider, which is certified to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. We receive a confirmation, the card brand and the last four digits — enough to match a refund to a payment and nothing more.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover. You must be the authorised holder of the card used. If a payment is reversed or a chargeback is raised without contacting us first, we may suspend the order and will respond to the card issuer with the order and delivery records.

No subscriptions, no rental

Everything on this website is a one-time purchase. There is no membership, no monthly or annual plan, no stored balance, no loyalty points, and no rental or per-month garment exchange. Nothing you buy renews, and there is nothing to cancel. The email list is free, optional, and carries an unsubscribe link in every message.

Reviews and user content

Reviews are written by customers who ordered the piece. We do not write them, buy them, or delete one because it is unfavourable. Where a reviewer received a store credit or a free piece in exchange for reviewing, that is disclosed on the review itself in the same size type as the review — as the Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides require.

By submitting a review you confirm it is your genuine opinion, that you disclosed any incentive you received, and that you grant us a non-exclusive licence to publish it on this website. We may decline to publish content that is unlawful, abusive, or that identifies a third party.

Intellectual property

The text, photographs, measurements and design of this website belong to DOLCEMIA CLOTHING LLC. You may not copy them for commercial use without written permission.

Our garments are original or use common industry silhouettes. They carry no third party’s trademark, logo or signature design, and we do not knowingly reproduce any protected design. If you believe something here infringes your rights, write to support@dolcemiaclothing.shop with the detail and we will investigate promptly.

Liability

We are responsible for supplying goods that match their description and are of satisfactory quality. Where we are at fault, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including the cost of an event, alterations, or travel — arising from a delivery delay outside our control, or from a garment being the wrong choice for an occasion where the published measurements were accurate.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law and disputes

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Duval County, Florida have exclusive jurisdiction, and both parties submit to it.

Before starting proceedings, please contact us at support@dolcemiaclothing.shop. Most disputes are a misunderstanding about a measurement and are resolved in a single email.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. We may update these terms; the version in force when you placed your order governs that order.
