What this fabric does

  • Open stitchwork catches on rings, watch clasps and chair backs.
  • Dry flat. A wet crochet piece on a hanger stretches permanently.
  • Hand wash only.

Why it is made this way

An open crochet stitch has holes in it. That is not a description of the fabric weight, it is a description of the structure — you can see through the gaps regardless of the yarn.

We grade it sheer for that reason, even though the yarn itself is opaque.
