What this fabric does

  • No UPF rating is published for this piece because it has not been tested to AATCC 183.
  • Paper straw softens if it gets wet and does not fully recover its stiffness.

Why it is made this way

The brim is 10 cm and holds its shape after being folded into a bag, which is the only reason to buy a packable hat rather than a rigid one.

We have not had this hat tested to AATCC 183, so we do not publish a UPF number for it. It is a wide brim; that is all we can honestly tell you.
