What this fabric does

  • Sequins snag on rough surfaces and on jewellery. Individual sequins can come loose over time.
  • This piece is heavy for its length. Two hours in, you will know it is there.
  • Hand wash only, inside out, dried flat.

Why it is made this way

Sequins add weight the way nothing else in this catalogue does — 340 g/m² finished, which is roughly double a lined crepe. You feel it on the shoulders after two hours.

They also catch. On chair backs, on rings, on a handbag strap. A sequin dress is a considered choice, not a casual one.
