What this fabric does

  • Cotton jersey grows about 1 cm through the hip across a day of wear and returns in the wash.
  • Unlined, but at 210 g/m² it reads opaque on the rig.

Why it is made this way

Most jersey dresses at this price are 140 g/m² and follow every line underneath. Ours is 210 g/m², which is heavy for a summer dress and the reason it hangs off the shoulder rather than sitting on the body.

It goes in the machine, it comes out of the dryer, and it does that indefinitely. That is the whole brief.
