What this fabric does

  • It creases within the first hour of wear, across the lap and behind the elbow. Ironing removes it; wearing puts it back.
  • Short and unlined. Seated, the hem is well above the knee.

Why it is made this way

Twenty minutes into wearing this dress it will have lines across the lap and behind the elbow. That is what linen does at 155 g/m², and no finish changes it.

We sell it because the way linen handles 33°C is worth the creasing, not because we found a way around it.
