  • Cotton at this weight creases across the lap when seated, and relaxes out over about twenty minutes standing.

Why it is made this way

The tea dress is the least demanding shape in this line. It has a defined waist, a skirt with real movement, and a hem that lands below the knee standing and stays close to it seated.

We line the bodice only. The skirt is a mid-weight cotton that reads opaque on the rig without a second layer.
