What this fabric does

  • A square neckline sits where the shoulder seam puts it. If the shoulder measurement in the table is far off yours, the neckline will move.
  • Twill holds a crease at the lap longer than a soft cotton does.
Fabric and care in full

Why it is made this way

No print, no gathering, no belt. The whole dress rests on the neckline sitting flat and the princess seams following the vertical line, which is why we cut it in a twill with body rather than a soft cloth.

Fully lined through the bodice and the skirt. Under the rig it reads opaque at every point.
