What this fabric does

  • Unlined. The cloth is dense enough to read opaque on the rig, but a dark undergarment will show as a shadow in direct sun.
  • The lowest two buttons open when you sit. That is normal for the length.
Fabric and care in full

Why it is made this way

Shirt dresses gape at the bust when the placket is under tension. We put a hidden anchor snap between the third and fourth buttons, which is where it happens.

The belt is self fabric and removable. Without it the dress reads straight; with it, defined at the waist.
