  • The slit is fixed at 38 cm and does open when you sit or take a long stride.
  • Unlined. Dense enough to read opaque on the rig.

Why it is made this way

On a button-through dress the slit is wherever you stop buttoning, which means it is different every time you wear it. We fixed ours: the lowest working button sits 38 cm above the hem, and everything below is a permanent open slit.

Seated, that slit falls to the side rather than the front, because of where the button stand lands relative to the hip seam.
