What this fabric does

  • A column cut has almost no ease. Take the measured table seriously on this one.
  • Sateen picks up a shine at the seat after a long seated stretch; it brushes out.

Why it is made this way

A column silhouette has no ease to give, so we cut it in a double-faced sateen that holds its own line and lined it in the same cloth. Under the rig it reads opaque at every point.

A straight skirt needs a vent to walk in. Ours is 34 cm from the hem, which is enough for a normal stride and short enough that it does not open when you sit.
